Pull Theory ("the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information:

Account Information

• name
• email address
• account credentials

Launch Notifications

• email addresses submitted through our launch notification form;
• the date and source of the request; and
• confirmation and unsubscribe status.

Launch notifications use double opt-in. We do not add an address to the confirmed launch list until the confirmation link sent to that address is used.

Usage Data

• app interactions
• feature usage
• device and diagnostic information
• subscription status

User Content

• espresso brewing logs
• tasting notes
• grind settings
• bean information
• other information you voluntarily submit

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• provide and maintain the App;
• authenticate users;
• sync data across devices;
• manage subscriptions;
• improve functionality and reliability;
• send transactional emails;
• send product-launch or product-update emails when you have expressly requested them;
• analyze usage trends; and
• provide customer support.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Third-Party Services

We use third-party providers that may process limited user data, including:

• Supabase (authentication and database infrastructure)
• RevenueCat (subscription management)
• Resend (transactional email delivery, confirmed contact management, and product broadcasts)
• analytics providers

These providers process data according to their own privacy policies.

4. Subscription Payments

Payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play billing systems.

We do not directly collect or store payment card information.

5. Data Retention

We retain user data as long as reasonably necessary to:

• provide the service;
• comply with legal obligations;
• resolve disputes; or
• enforce agreements.

Pending launch notification requests expire after 24 hours, although limited records may be retained to prevent abuse. Confirmed launch addresses are retained until the launch notification has been sent, you unsubscribe, or you ask us to delete the address.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect user information.

However, no system can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years old.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding:

• access to your data;
• correction of inaccurate data;
• deletion of personal information; and
• data portability; and
• withdrawal of consent for launch or product-update emails.

Marketing and product-announcement emails include an unsubscribe mechanism. Unsubscribing does not affect transactional messages required to operate an account you create.

9. International Users

If you use the App outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed and stored in the United States.
